Hello! Welcome back to my blog. I've been a bit slack with my blog recently as it's the first thing to slip when things get busy! With commission deadlines, personal projects and the podcast, it's difficult to find the time to sit down and write! I thought to get back into the swing of things I would have a little chat through some of my art techniques, some of the materials I use and why I use them. I would say I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to art materials, as afte
A few weeks ago I asked my Instagram followers for their favourite songs/albums to listen to while they work. Their suggestions were so good I thought I would share some of their recommendations here as well as a few of my favourites songs and what I have on repeat at the moment. They would make great note card sets which I may develop as a product for next year. It would be fun to do a dog version too! I produced this whopper of a painting for the Pop Up Pug Cafe's Brighton event. It brings together Pug owners (and lovers) from all over the U.K for a day of coffee and d
So last weekend was a pretty bloody great weekend. After a short plane ride followed by a tortuously slow boat ride - we arrived in gloriously sunny (albeit chilly) Venice. It was exactly how I imagined it, postcard perfect with every street nicer than the next. Our hotel was right on the waterfront and only a few minutes walk from St Marks square. The square was definitely worth a visit to see Doge's Palace but it was absolutely heaving with tourists which is never particula
